Mix all the dry ingredients together

Pour in the heavy coconut milk and start kneading

Add the light coconut milk bit by bit while kneading..make sure the dough does not get too watery

Round up the dough and apply oil all over it. Cover it with a clean cloth and leave it to rest for about 30mins or until its double in size

Divide the dough into four small balls. Roll each small ball to about 6inch diameter and cut into four quaters

Cover the quarters with a clean towel and let them sit for about 15mins. Fry in 180°c oil.

Let them cool and serve with chai ya mdalasini (cinnamon tea)
