Ingredients

  1. 3 small bowlsbasmati rice
  2. 3-4florets of cauliflower
  3. 1potato
  4. 1onion
  5. 1carrot
  6. 1/4green, red, yellow capsicum
  7. 1/4chopped beetroot
  8. 1 small bowl soaked peas
  9. As neededDry fruits
  10. to tasteSalt
  11. 1/4 tea spoonturmeric powder
  12. 1 tea spoonred chilli powder
  13. As neededWhole masale (tej patta, laung, elaichi, Kali mirch)
  14. 2 tea spoonbiryani masala
  15. 1lemon juice
  16. SomeChopped green coriander leaves
  17. As requiredButter
  18. as neededGhee

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak rice for half an hour

  2. 2

    Cut all vegetables and wash thoroughly

    Take vessel and put water and let it boil, rinse water from rice and put in the boiling water

  4. 4

    Take kadhai, add butter, ghee put jeera and all khada masala saute it

  5. 5

    Add sliced onion and saute till golden brown

  6. 6

    Add all veggies and all masala and cover it and let it cook on medium flame

  7. 7

    In between check if rice are done, rinse the water from it

  8. 8

    Once all veggies are cooked add cooked rice and mix well

  9. 9

    Add lemon juice and mix well and garnish with coriander leaves

  10. 10

    Pulao is ready to eat with raita
