In a bowl, mix together the sugar, milk, eggs, and cinnamon. Dip the bread slices into the mixture, making sure they are well coated.

Heat oil or butter in a skillet or griddle over medium heat. Place the bread slices on the skillet and cook until golden brown on both sides, flipping once.

Serve with maple syrup. I added a few pieces of butter on top and they turned out super delicious.
