Deep fried calzones

All purpose flour. These are fried calzones. Not the usual baked calzones we have. They are nice and moist to eat with oozing mozzarella in the centre.

Steps

In a bowl take warm water. Add yeast, salt and sugar. Let it proof for 10 mins.

In a separate bowl take yeast. Add in the yeast mixture and prepare a soft dough. Cover and keep it for one hour or until double in size.

After an hour knead the dough slightly and cut in into 10 equal pieces and shape into balls.

Flatten each ball and place pizza pasta sauce in the centre, add parsley, basil and mozzarella cheese. Fold to form semi circles and press the edges to seal them. Depp fry in hot oil till golden in colour.
