Steps

Put the yeast, oil, sugar and warm water to sit and rise

Mix the flour, cardamom, desiccated coconut and salt in a bowl and mix thoroughly

Form a well in the Centre and add the yeast mixture with water slowly mixing it in until it starts to clump up
- 4
Knead the mixture until it all comes together

Cover it in cling film and let it rest for 15 minutes. Knead some more until soft and combined.

Part them into small pieces to roll out into 1/4inch thickness, and slice into quarters

Fry until golden brown and airy. Enjoy with tea 😊
