Ingredients

  1. 1 cansweetened condensed milk (I used Frisian Flag Gold, 370 grams)
  2. 3 cans(use the empty sweetened condensed milk can) plain liquid milk/UHT
  3. 2 cans(use the empty sweetened condensed milk can) water
  4. You can use all liquid milk or all water if you prefer
  5. 1 packagechocolate Nutrijel (30 grams)
  6. 7 gramscocoa powder/1 heaping tablespoon
  7. 100 gramsdark cooking chocolate, chopped (I used Tulip DCC)
  8. 30 gramsgranulated sugar/adjust to taste, can be skipped
  9. 1 tablespooncornstarch
  10. 1 pinchfine salt
  11. Sauce:
  12. 1 packageinstant vanilla sauce (My Vla)
  13. 1 cuphot liquid milk (can use regular hot water)

Cooking Instructions

    First, make the instant vanilla sauce: pour 1 package of instant vanilla sauce powder into a bowl. Set aside. Then heat the liquid milk in a small pot, no need to boil (I used 1 cup). Once hot, pour it into the vanilla sauce powder. Stir with a whisk until smooth and thick. Cool down. Ready to use. (If using regular hot water, the process is the same). If needed, you can make a double batch of the sauce.

    In a pot, whisk together the sweetened condensed milk, liquid milk, and water. Then add the chocolate Nutrijel, cocoa powder, and salt. Mix well. Next, add the cornstarch. Mix again until smooth.

    Add the granulated sugar, mix well, then cook over medium heat while stirring continuously. When the mixture is hot but not yet boiling, add the chopped dark cooking chocolate, stirring continuously until the chocolate melts and the mixture boils. Turn off the heat. Remove from the stove.

    Pour into pudding cups. Let the steam dissipate. Then refrigerate for about 15 minutes.

    After 15 minutes, take out and pour the vanilla sauce on top (add shaved dark cooking chocolate for extra flavor). Chill again in the refrigerator. The colder it is, the more refreshing it is 😄.
