Ingredients

  • 2 poundwhole green beans microwave steamable
  • 6small purple pearl onions
  • 5 clovesgarlic
  • To tasteground black pepper 1/2 teaspoon
  • 1-1/3 teaspoonkosher salt
  • 3 tablespoonspeanut oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel the onions. Heat the oil and sauté them for 5 minutes. Steam the green beans in a bag in the microwave.

    Peel and crush the garlic. Add to the onions.

    Add the green beans, salt, and pepper. Cover and let cook 20 minutes.
