Ingredients

  • 1 cupsugar (200 grams)
  • 1 cupmilk (240 ml)
  • 1 cupoil (240 ml)
  • 1 1/2 cupssemolina (240 grams)
  • 1 1/2 cupsall-purpose flour (190 grams)
  • 1 packetbaking powder (about 2 teaspoons, 8 grams)

Steps

    Mix the sugar, milk, and oil together.

  2. 2

    Add the semolina, flour, and baking powder, and mix well.

  3. 3

    Bake in the oven until done.

    Once baked, pour syrup over the basbousa.
