Roasted Garlic

Love garlic but most don't like it raw. Roasted is a more subtle taste but it's still there. And this is the EASIEST way to get pure natural garlic out of a head of garlic!! AND ITS REALLY CHEAP!! Try it and see?!??!!!??

Steps
- 1
Preheat oven to 425
- 2
Cut whole top off of garlic. Gather a very large piece of aluminum foil. Coat foil with butter, spray, or oil. Once top is cut off of garlic, also cover it with butter/oil and salt and pepper and any other seasoning. Wrap slightly in the foil. I use the large piece of foil, so I can wrap the garlic then have a lot left over to make a little hook with the foil to hang on the oven rack. Bake about 20 to 30 min. when you smell it in the kitchen.
- 3
Rest in foil until cool. Can be saved in the refrigerator for up to 6 months in a sealed baggie or container. BEST THING about this is garlic is hard to deal with usually but this way it slides right out of all the peelings and isn't raw, and works well with so many recipes.
