Pan-roasted chicken with peppers

I marinated the chicken over night.

Preheat oven. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat little oil in a nonstick pan over high heat until hot but not smoking.

Put chicken in the pan skin side down and cook for 2minutes. Reduce heat to medium high;continue cooking skin side down, occasionally rearranging chicken and rotating pan to evenly distribute heat,until skin is golden brown.

Add bell peppers and transfer pan to oven and cook more.

Flip chicken; continue cooking until skin crisps and chicken is cooked through.

Transfer to a plate.
