In a bowl mix the dry ingredients i.e baking powder and flour

In a second bowl whisk sugar and Margarine till it's pale

Add the eggs one at a time and continue whisking.

Add Vanilla essence and whisk for 1 minute

Add the dry ingredients to the wet batter alternating with milk
