Ingredients

30 minutes
4 servings
  1. 250 gramssinghada flour (water chestnut flour)
  2. 3-4medium sized potatoes (boiled, peeled and cubed)
  3. 2 tbspchopped coriander leaves
  4. 2green chillies finely chopped
  5. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  6. to tasteRock salt
  7. SomeOil for frying
  8. 1 cupwhisked yoghurt (optional)
  9. 2 tspsugar

Steps

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Firstly, take flour in a mixing bowl and make thick and smooth batter by adding water. Batter should be of dropping consistency.

    Now add coriander, green chillies, salt and red chilli powder(optional)

  3. 3

    Mix it well and keep aside for 10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Heat oil in a wok on medium flame.

  5. 5

    Now add boiled potato cubes in the batter and smear 6-8 potato cubes in the batter with light hands.

  6. 6

    Fry them in heated oil on medium flame till crisp and brown.

  7. 7

    Take them out in a serving plate.

  8. 8

    Make more fritters with the remaining batter like so.

  9. 9

    Serve hot with green chutney or curd.

    Note:-

    Add sugar in whisked yoghurt and mix well.

  12. 12

    Assemble hot fritters in a serving plate, top it with whisked sweet yoghurt, green chutney and tamarind chutney.

    Sprinkle some red chilli powder and serve yummy and delicious singhade ke pakoda chaat.
