All soaked and grounded to batter...To it add sauteed onion , spinach and grated coconut and make a healthy Spicy Spinach Adai. Any Greens can be added according to individual 's preference.

Grind soaked rice and Tur dal (1 hour soaking time)with chillies,peppercorn's and little water. Add salt and Asafoetida and mix well.Let the ground batter rest for 2 hours.

In a pan add oil and saute onion until translucent. Add spinch to it and saute for 2 minutes.Let it cool.

Add the cooled mixture to the Adai batter and mix well. The batter has to be thick.

Heat oil in a tava and flatten a round ball of Adai batter and cook for three to four minutes. Check the doness on both the sides of Adai.

Serve Spicy Spinach Adai with coconut chutney, tomato chutney and jaggery.
