Sift your flour

Add in sugar,salt,nutmeg and the yeast..

Add in water bit by bit. The batter should not be watery or thick. It should be a little thicker than pancake batter

Mix thoroughly till its free from lumps

Cover the bowl with aluminum foil and thick towel and keep in a warm place to rise for about 45mins

After 45mins bring it out and deep fry in hot oil.. Use your palm to scoop out the batter in order to have a round puff

When it's golden brown bring it out from the fire and put in a colander lined in paper towels

Repeat process for the remaining batter

Your puff puff is ready

Note that if your yeast is not In powder form is. I. E if it's in pebbles. Please mix with Luke warm water and set aside Then add it after mixing the dry ingredients with water
