Ingredients

15 minutes
2 servings
  • 4Idlis
  • 3 table spoons eachFinely chopped onions and tomatoes
  • 1 cupBoiled and smashed potatoes
  • 1/4 tea spoonGaram masala powder
  • 1/2 cupAny vegetable of your choice grated
  • Pepper powder or chilli powder to your taste
  • 2 table spoonsOil
  • 3 table spoonsButter
  • to tasteSalt

Steps

15 minutes
  1. 1

    In a pan heat oil fry onions and tomatoes till they become mushy

  2. 2

    Add required salt, pepper powder and garam masala powder.

  3. 3

    Add the grated veggies and mashed potatoes.

  4. 4

    Stir well and switch off the stove.

  5. 5

    Heat a grill pan and spread some butter

  6. 6

    Place two idlis on it and cook till they become golden brown.

  7. 7

    Take out. Spread some butter on the uncooked side.

  8. 8

    Place the veg stuff in between two idlis and serve with tomato sauce.
