Dal-Bhaji

(Traditional Maharashtraian curry) full of flavors

Wash three dal s combined.. And soak in water for 15-20 minutes.

Chopped onion, tomatoes, green chilli, ginger -garlic finely.

Now heat oil in pressure cooker, add cumin seeds and Asafoetida. Add dry red chilli saute it. Add chopped onion and fry it till it turns transparent. Then add ginger garlic, chopped green chillies and peanuts and stir it. Now add tamarind pulp and mix it. Now add all the dry spices.

Add me spinach and mix it well.

Add soaked dal and water 1 cup or as required. Add Jaggery. When it started boiling cover it with it's lid and cook till 2 whistles on medium flame.

When cooker cools down open it's lid stir or whisk smoothly (all dals granules should be seen separate) and again cook it for one or two boiling.

This is very delicious curry served with chapati and rice both.
