Steps

Take 1 bowl yellow dal. Wash it in running water.

Then boil 3-4 cups of fresh water. Add dal,1/2 tsp salt,1 spoon oil and. Boil on low medium heat as yellow lentils tend to boil over very quickly. To cook lentils in pressure cooker.when 1 whistle comes then turn off the flame.

Take onion, tomato, ginger,garlic cloves,coriander and green chilli.

Then chopped it. Take chopped onion, tomato, garlic, ginger and chilli.

Heat oil in a pan. Add cumin seeds when oil is hot.

Add garlic,ginger,onion,chilli and some coriander leaves. Saute it for 2 mins.

Add tomatoes in it and fried until oil separates.

Add turmeric powder, salt,red chilli powder, garam masala and fry for 30 seconds.

Mix daal/lentils in the fried mixture. Cook it for 1-2 minutes.

Turn off the heat. Add coriander leaves and also garnish it and lemon juice.

Special Yellow daal tadka is ready to serve.
