First of all boil the potatoes in 200ml water and pinch of salt for 10 mins. Then take out the potatoes in a plate and peel off their skin and mash them using hand or a spoon.

Heat the kadhai in medium flame and put 3 tsp oil. Then in the hot oil pour cumin seeds. When the seeds start to crackle add chopped onion. Stir it for minute until it become pink in colour.

Then add chopped ginger and green chilies. After a minute add cumin powder and switch off the flame. Now add the mashed potato and salt (if required). Cover it and keep aside.

Whisk the dahi or curd in a bowl. In a hot kadhai put 1 tsp oil, mustard seeds, dried red chilli and curry leaves. After a minute pour the dahi, stir it for a minute and switch off the flame.

Cut the bread slice (total 15 slices) in round shape using a bowl. In one side spread the aloo paste evenly. Then heat the tawa and pour 1 tsp oil. Put the bread slices (4 at a time), the aloo side facing the tawa and on the side spread the tardka dahi. Cook them for minute until the dahi is absorbed by the breads.

Lip smacking BREAD IDLI SANDWICH is ready to serve.
