Take spinach leaves. Wash them carefully. Pat them using kitchen towel and keep aside.

Take a bowl and mix all the batter ingredients together. Add water and make a batter that is moderately thick.

Heat oil in a pan on medium flame.

Dip one spinach leaf in the batter. It should be coated from all the sides.

Gently put them in the hot oil. Fry them till they turn crispy and golden brown from both the sides.

Take them out on a paper towel lined plate and sprinkle some chat masala.

Serve hot with tomato ketchup and chai.
