It is a famous dish of Bengal.Posto means Poppy seeds. Simple and easy. It is cooked in mustard oil, it tastes equally good in vegetable oil too.
Steps

Soak Poppy seeds in warm water for 1 hr.Then grind it to paste. keep aside.Wash, dry and cut Bhindi in desired pieces.

Heat oil in a pan add onion seeds,slit green chillies. Then add in bhindi, salt, turmeric powder,mix, cover and cook for 2 minutes.

Then put sugar in it and Poppy seeds paste,1/2 cup water and mix again.Cover and cook till bhindi is done.Serve hot.
