Ingredients

  1. 500 gmschicken
  2. 11/2onion sliced finely
  3. 4 tbspcurd
  4. 1 tbspkasoori methi
  5. 2 tbsptomato puree
  6. 6cashewnuts
  7. 1 1/2 tbspmalai or fresh cream
  8. 1/2 tspturmeric
  9. 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  10. 1 tspajwain
  11. 1 tspginger paste
  12. 1 tspgarlic paste
  13. 1 tspmelon seeds
  14. 2slit green chillies
  15. 1 tsptandoori masala
  16. 1 tbspghee
  17. 3 tbsprefined oil
  18. 1small stick cinnamon
  19. 2cardamom
  20. 4-5cloves
  21. 1 tbspchopped coriander
  22. 1 tbsplemon juice
  23. To tastesalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Marinate chicken with little salt,turmeric,red chilli powder and lemon juice for an hour.

    Make a paste of melon seeds,malai, curd,tomato puree and few cashewnuts.

    Heat oil in a wok and lightly fry the chicken.Then sprinkle half crushed whole garam masala and fry the onion crispy brown and set aside.Then add the ground paste and the chicken.

    Add crushed kasoori methi, ghee,little more tomato puree,salt to taste and toss till oil leaves sides.Add little water and cook under low flame till chicken is done.Sprinkle tandoori masala and garam masala.Garnish with chopped green chillies and coriander.Serve with tandoori naan or chapati.
