Braised Pork (Rice Cooker Version)
Braised pork rice is my husband's favorite.
Steps

Cut the pork belly into pieces about 3/4 inch (2 cm) wide. Blanch in boiling water.

Remove and rinse the pork belly with cold water. Marinate the pork belly with the marinade ingredients and mix well. Let it marinate for 20 minutes.

Place the marinated pork belly and rock sugar in a rice cooker. Add 2 cups of water to the outer pot, press the cook button. When the switch pops up, let it sit for a while. Then it's ready to serve. Smells amazing!
