Wash the toor daal and add chopped onion, chopped tomato, sliced green chillies in a pressure cooker

Add sambhar powder, turmeric powder, salt, asafoetida along to that and cook upto 3 whistles.

Now season it with mustard, urad daal, curry leaves, asafoetida, green chilli and red chilli.serve it hot with fresh fried potato finger chips. Kids wont miss it.
