Ingredients

  1. Ingredients:
  2. 1 litermilk (full cream milk)
  3. 3/4 cupsugar
  4. saffron (kesar)
  5. 1/4 cupAlmonds
  6. 1/4 cupcashew nuts
  7. 10-12 piecespistachios(pista)
  8. 1 teaspoonblack pepper powder (kaali mirch)
  9. 2 tablespoonkhuskhus (poppy seeds)(khus khus)
  10. 1 teaspoonrose water (gulab jal)
  11. 1/2 teaspooncardamom powder (illaechi)
  12. 1 teaspoongreen saunf (fennel powder)

Steps

  1. 1

    Method:

    1; Drain the water of the soaked ingredients. Ground them all into a very fine paste using a little milk.
    In a pan boil the milk and sugar, lower the flame when the first boil comes.

    Add the saffron strands and stir well.

  3. 3

    To this milk add the grounded paste and rose water, mix well.

  4. 4

    Let the milk cool at room temperature. Store this milk in fridge for future consumption.

  5. 5

    Garnish with rose petals and serve....

  6. 6
