This a delicious festive sweet dish in which the deep fried crispy and crunchy kachoris which are packed with the mixture of mawa, saffron and dry fruits and also then dipped in sugar syrup. The lip smacking taste of these kachoris must attract the guests during any festive season.

This a delicious festive sweet dish in which the deep fried crispy and crunchy kachoris which are packed with the mixture of mawa, saffron and dry fruits and also then dipped in sugar syrup. The lip smacking taste of these kachoris must attract the guests during any festive season.

Mix all the ingredients together except water for making the dough.

Rub them for sometime with your hand.

Then slowly add water as per needed for kneading the dough and cover it for sometime.

In the meantime prepare the mawa stuffing. Heat a pan and put ghee in it and then mix milk powder, milk and mix it well. Then add sugar and chopped dry fruits in it.

Add saffron strands and cardamom powder and continuously stir it till they become a soft dough.

Keep them aside and allow them to cool completely and then make equal portions of the dough as well as the stuffing.

Grease your palm with ghee and make a bowl like shape from the dough and put the mawa stuffing in it.

Close them from all the sides and roll them.

Then dip fry them in oil till slightly brown on either sides and allow them to cool completely.

In the meantime prepare the sugar syrup by adding all the ingredients till 1/2 strand consistency.

Then dipped the kachoris in the syrup for 1 minute and then take out from it.

Now your shahi mawa dry fruits kachoris are ready to serve by garnishing some chopped pistachios, saffron and dried rose petals.
