Chocolate Orange Mousse
This mousse always surprises people! It's delicious, nutritious, and very healthy since it's made with avocado and raw cacao.
Steps
- 1
Juice the orange and pit the dates. Add the dates to the orange juice and let them soak for 1 hour.
- 2
Once the dates are softened, blend the dates with the orange juice, avocados, and raw cacao powder in a blender. Blend until the mixture is as smooth and airy as a mousse.
- 3
Pour the mixture into a glass bowl and cover with plastic wrap. Chill in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours (or enjoy right away if you can't wait!).
- 4
Remove the mousse from the refrigerator and serve in a glass bowl or dessert cup. Top with a little orange zest and some cacao nibs. Enjoy!
