Ingredients

1 serving
  • 1/4 cupWater
  • 1/8 teaspoonDashi Powder *OR other instant stock powder
  • 1 tablespoonSoy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoonMirin
  • 1 teaspoonSugar *optional, only if you like sweeter flavour
  • 1/4Onion *finely sliced
  • 2Eggs *lightly whisked
  • 1/2Spring Onion *finely chopped

Steps

    Place Water, Dashi Powder, Soy Sauce and Mirin in a small frying pan (18-20cm), add sliced Onion and bring to the boil over medium heat. Cook until Onion is soft, pour lightly whisked Eggs over but DO NOT stir. Cover with a lid until the egg is cooked as you like it.

    Half fill a bowl with warm Cooked Rice and cover it with the egg mixture. Sprinkle with chopped Spring Onions and enjoy.
