Ingredients

24 servings
  • 1 (12 oz)can whole green chilies, drained
  • 4 cups (1 lb)grated Monterey jack cheese
  • 4 cups (1 lb)grated cheddar cheese
  • 4eggs
  • 4 tbspmilk
  • 2 tbspall purpose flour

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat oven to 375°f. Spray 13*9 inch pan with nonstick cooking spray.

  2. 2

    Slice chiles; remove seeds and stems. Open chiles completely so they lie flat. In pan, layer chiles and cbeeses, starting with light layer of cheese and ending with cheese (3 layers cheese, 2 layers chiles).

  3. 3

    In medium bowl, beat eggs, milk and flour at medium speed until well blended. Pour egg mixture over chiles and cheese. Bake 1 hour or until firm. Cut into small squares. Serve warm.
