Parotas with Chili, Salt, and Lime

First, cut the parotas and place them in a pot with enough water to cover them. Bring to a boil and cook until tender.

Once cooked, remove the white almond-like seed from inside the parota.

Rinse the seeds thoroughly with water and extract the edible green part from inside the almond. This is what you will eat.

Enjoy the parota seeds with salt, lime, and chili powder, or just with salt and lime.
- 5
Note: Discard the outer shell and the pink part of the almond. Only eat the green part you remove at the end.
