Steps
- 1
Wash and clean meat. Separate bones if any. Chop it down inside jar or in a food processor. You can also add bone but directly in pressure cooker not in food processor.
- 2
Heat oil in a pressure cooker add cinnamon stick and green cardamoms, saute for a while. Add onion and fry till golden.
- 3
Add ginger garlic paste and fry for a minute, add turmeric powder and red chilli powder. Add chopped meat and fry for some time. This is important to bring flavour in curry.
- 4
Add one and a half cup of water, put the lid on. After 20 - 25 minutes meat will be tender. After 7-8 minutes of high flame reduce it to low.
- 5
Once pressure settled on it's own check for any remaining water. If water is there on high flame cook it with continuous stirring. Add tomatoes and green chillies.
- 6
Now we are in the process of bhunao. This is important as it brings the actual flavour of it even you can skip garam masala totally if this is done properly.
- 7
Add chopped coriander and mint leaves, lemon juice and garam masala if using. Ready to serve with almost everything.
