Steps
- 1
For idli- grind the soaked rice and dal to make a paste. Keep it over night (not in the fridge). Mix it well. Then in a idli stand(micro-oven proof) brush the pits with oil and pour the mixture after beating it properly. Pour some water in the bottom most container and normaly heat it for 1 min in micro oven. Pour the mixture into the pits and adjust the stand properly.
- 2
After the whole set up is ready put the stand into the micro oven and select the button having idli option in it. Click it as many times as idli is in the option (in my micro oven idli is in the 2nd option so i clicked it twice) and then press the start button.
- 3
Or else if you dont have such options micro wave it for 4:00mins and then check it with a tooth pick w hether it sticks to it. Let it cool down. Take the idlis out with a spoon gently.

For green chutney...put the mint leaves tulsi leaves garlic pieces green chillis black cumin yoghurt salt chaat masala and lemon juice in a mixer and grind it well. Add water to it to get a chutney like consistency. Serve it in a bowl with mint leaf on it.
