Makhmali pomfret
It is a super delicious creamy pomfret recepie with tender coconut

Steps

Marinate clean and washed fish with salt and turmeric powder.

Heat oil. Shallow fry the fish. Keep aside.

Make a paste of tender coconut.

In the same oil add tender coconut paste,turmeric powder, red chilli powder, salt and slitted green chillies.

When starts boiling, add tamarind paste.

Add the fried fish. Cover and cook for sometime.

Heat oil in a tadka pan. Add methi seed, whole red chilli, grated ginger, crushed garlic, chopped onion and curry leaves. Fry a little.

Add tadka to the fish curry. Cover and rest for 1/2 hour.

Mix the tadka. Makhmali pomfret is ready to serve.
