Ingredients

  • 1/2 bowlrice(washed)
  • 1 bowlwashed moong dal
  • 1/2 tbspBlack pepper powder
  • 1/2jeera
  • 1/2garam masala
  • to tasteSalt
  • 5 bowlwater
  • as neededDesi Ghee
  • 1/4Turmeric powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Add rice,Dal and water and salt,haldi in cooker and cook it till 2 whistles at low flame

  2. 2

    For tadka heat oil in a small pan and then crack jeera in it and then add all spices

  3. 3

    Pour it on khichdi and mix well

  4. 4

    Serve with curd
