Iterating to perfect drip filter coffee ☕️♻️

I love a well made drip filter as it produces wonderful flavours and aromas. A friend shared her method which I’m going to iterate on until I’ve perfected it 🤞🏼

Steps
- 1
Weigh the beans and grind to a medium grade...it’s all in the grind...not to fine, not to coarse
- 2
Heat the water to 92c in a goose neck kettle
- 3
Wash the filter with hot water
- 4
Put the cup / jug on the scales and place the dripper with filter on top
- 5
Put the coffee into the filter and Tare the scales. Remember you want 15g of water for every gram coffee
- 6
Slowly wet the coffee. Leave it for 30secs to “bloom”
- 7
Then continue to pour water slowly in concentric circles finishing in the centre. Try to finish within 2.5-3 minutes
- 8
Taste, take note of the method (time, weights and grind setting) Try again ♻️
