Ingredients

  • For stuffing
  • 1 cupcooked rice (leftover)
  • 1small potato cooked (optional)
  • 1/2small carrot grated
  • 1onion finely chopped
  • 1green chilli finely chopped
  • 1/4 tspginger greted
  • 1/4 tsproasted cumin seeds powder
  • 1/2 tspred chilli powder
  • 1/4 tspcumin and coriander powder
  • 1/2 tspkitchen king masala
  • 1/2 tspaamchur powder
  • 1/2 tspkasuri methi
  • 1/2 tspdry mint leaves
  • to tasteSalt
  • For serving
  • as neededKetchup
  • as neededGreen chilli, mint and coriander chutney
  • as neededPeanut and chilli, sour chutney
  • as requiredSemi stiff salted dough of roti (1/2 to 3/4 cup approx)

Steps

  1. 1

    Take a big bowl and add cooked rice, dry spices (masala. dry mint and kasuri methi, crushed with hand) chopped onions and green chilli, grated ginger, cooked potato and grated carrot. Mix well and keep aside.

    Now take dough, and make small balls, roll into semi thick roti. Cut into halves.

    Add spoonful of stuffing on one side. And fold it, it will turned to shape in samosa. Make same as it from rest of stuffing and dough.

    Heat oil and deep fry on medium heat till light brown and crispy.

    Serve with ketchup, green chilli,mint and coriander chutney, and sour peanut and chilli chutney.

    NOTE- you can add some crumbles of paneer, and even with flavor of Chinese, (with chopped onions, capsicum, carrots, cabbage, ginger-chilli-garlic paste, soy sauce, chilli sauce and ketchup.) Enjoy this treat.
