Steps

Soak rice. First prepare palak paste. For that add ginger, garlic, green chilies and palak in a grinder jar. Add little water and blend it to smooth paste. Keep it aside

In a pan heat oil and add black cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, bay leaves and fry it for a while.

Add cumin seeds to it and let it crack.

Then add sliced onions and let it cook till it become lightish brown.

Once the onions become brown add spinach paste to it and all dry masala (salt, turmeric, red chilli powder, Garam masala) andcook it till it release the oil.

Once oil start leaving the pan add paneer cubes to it.

Mix well and cook for couple of minutes.

Now add soaked rice to it (drain out the water in which we soak the rice)

Add 1 1/2 cup of water to it. Cover the pan and let it cook. Till all the water evaporates and rice is fully done.

Once rice is done mix it with fork or the back of spoon so that rice grain don’t break.
