Use fresh white bean ensuring to cook appropriately or used canned beans. Drain and rinse the beans, then drain again.

Heat a sauté pan over medium heat. Add the cumin, coriander, and turmeric to the hot sauté pan and sauté for 30-60 seconds, or until the species are fragrant, stirring constantly to avoid burning. Add the olive oil, shallots, and garlic and sauté for 3 minutes, or until translucent.

Add the beans, lemon juice, and water and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring frequently, or until the beans are heated through. Season with salt, and serve.
