Ingredients

  • 500 gramsBhindi (Lady Finger/Okra)
  • 1Onions
  • as neededCooking oil
  • as neededCoriander (Dhania) Leaves, Few sprigs, finely chopped
  • For filling
  • 1 teaspoonGreen Chilli, crushed
  • 1 teaspoonRed chilli powder
  • 1 teaspoonTurmeric powder (Haldi)
  • 1 teaspoonCoriander Powder (Dhania)
  • 1 teaspoonDry Mango Powder(Aamchoor)
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1/2 teaspoonCooking oil

Steps

  1. 1

    To begin making bhindi, firstly mix all the ingredient s mentioned under 'for filling' in a mixing bowl to prepare the masala

  2. 2

    Wash the bhindi and make a slit from top to bottom fill the masala inside bhindi and keep them aside for 5 mins

  3. 3

    Heat oil add onions in a wide pan let it cook for a minute and then add bhindi into it

  4. 4

    Stir it for about 2 minutes. Turn the flame on low, cover the lid and cook it till the bhindi is soft and cooked. Once it is done, garnish it with coriander.
