*Mix all the dry ingredients(flour,sugar,yeast,lemon zest) - 2
Add margerine/butter mix with hands.

Add the beaten eggs and mix it in

Make a well and add in warm water little by little as you knead.

Transfer on a flat working area and knead till you get a firm but soft consistency.

Form a ball like shape and place it in a bowl and apply a little oil and rub it on the dough.

Cover with a damp clothe and let it rise to double size.

When it has doubled in size, punch a hole in the centre

Cut a small ball and roll it into a circle.

Using a doughnut shaper cut into shapes and set aside to let the pieces rise again.

Heat oil under medium heat. Drop the pieces in hot oil.

Cook until they turn golden brown on both sides. Place in paper towels to drain excess oil.

Serve.
