Ingredients

20 minutes
  1. ------ Boiled Frosting:
  2. 1 1/2 cupswhite sugar (about 300 grams)
  3. 1/2 cupwater (120 ml)
  4. 2egg whites
  5. Juice of half a lemon
  6. Vanilla extract or desired flavoring
  7. --- Chocolate Frosting:
  8. 150 grams(about 2/3 cup) unsalted butter
  9. 2 tablespoonsunsweetened cocoa powder
  10. 1 cansweetened condensed milk (14 oz / 397 grams)

  1. 1

    For the boiled frosting, combine the water and sugar in a saucepan over medium heat. Without stirring, let it cook until it reaches the soft ball stage.

  2. 2

    In a mixer, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form. When they are fluffy, add the lemon juice.

  3. 3

    Once the syrup reaches the right stage, slowly pour it in a thin stream into the egg whites while beating, until stiff peaks form.

  4. 4

    For the chocolate frosting, melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the sweetened condensed milk and cocoa powder, stirring to combine.

  5. 5

    You can add vanilla extract or your preferred flavoring if desired.
