Peel the yam. Boil and cool. Mix in yam some salt,green chillies some onion and coriander leaves. Add in hing and red chilli powder. Add the cornflour. Mix well and shape into small balls.

Heat an appe pan and add drop of oil in the cavities. When heated add the yam balls in the cavities and cook till brown. Flip over and cook again till brown on the other side as well. Remove and keep aside.

For serving assemble the pakodi in bowls. Add sweetened curd. Add some chopped onion. Add imli sauce. Sprinkle roasted cumin powder some salt and red chilli powder. Top with some boondis and aloo bhujiya and pomegranate pearls and chopped coriander. Enjoy.
