Ingredients

  • 400 gmsCondensed Milk
  • 200 gmsMilk Powder
  • 1/2 tbspGhee
  • 3-4small Cardamom
  • 1/4 tbspNutmeg Powder
  • 5-6saffron strands soaked in 2 tbsp milk
  • as neededChopped Pistachio/ Chopped Almond/Raisin for garnishing

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix the condensed milk, milk powder and ghee very well so that the mixture becomes smooth and no lump forms

  2. 2

    Heat the mixture and keep stirring for 5 mins

  3. 3

    Add the saffron, nutmeg powder and cardamon seeds and mix well

  4. 4

    The mixture will get thickened and will form dough

  5. 5

    Remove the mixture from heat and let it cool down. Grease hands with ghee...take small amount of the mixture in hand and give it a round/circular shape.

  6. 6

    Garnish with chopped Pistachios/Almonds or Raisins. This Pedas can be stored in refrigerator for few days.
