Ingredients

  • for idli:
  • 3 cupsIdli rice
  • 1 cupurad dal dal
  • 1 tablespoonMethi
  • forChutney
  • 3chopped onions
  • 1chopped tomato
  • 1 tablespoonjeera
  • Handfulcurry leaves
  • HandfulPudina leaves
  • 4green chillies
  • to tasteSalt
  • 1 tspred chilli
  • 2 tablespoonsoil

Steps

  1. 1

    Soak mentioned ingredients for idli upto 6 hours and grind with salt. Keep aside for fermentation for 3 hours and then steam the batter in pouring moulds

    For chutney:Take oil in a Kadhai first add jeera, red chilli gradually add remaining ingredients fry till brown. After it becomes cool grind it.
