It is a very delicious Punjabi Style recipe, my favorite since childhood.
It can be eaten with Rice Roti or Naan.

The chicken cooked in a pressure cooker tastes as good as cooked slowly in a wok
It is a very delicious Punjabi Style recipe, my favorite since childhood.
It can be eaten with Rice Roti or Naan.
Steps

Wash the chicken and keep aside. In a pressure cooker heat oil add to it Crushed cardamom, cinnamon, cloves,bay leaf and saute till nice aroma is released.

Put crushed ginger garlic paste fry a little add onion paste and cook till it turns brown.Now put in the tomato paste and all the powder spices except dry fenugreek and 1 tsp garam masala. Cook till tomatoes are well cooked and water is dried.

Add chicken pieces, mix it well with the masala, cook for a few minutes.Add 1-1/2 cups of water, close the pressure cooker and cook till 2 whistles and off the flame. When pressure releases open it check gravy consistency, water can be added if needed. Put on the flame add the other 1 tsp garam masala, coriander leaves and further cook on slow flame for 2-3 minutes.
