Ingredients

30 minutes
  1. 200 gmoong dhal
  2. 1 cupchopped onions
  3. 1 cupchopped tomatoes
  4. 1/2 tablespoonchilli powder
  5. 1/2 tablespoonturmeric powder
  6. Salt (as required)
  7. 2 tablespoonCooking oil
  8. 1/2 tablespoonjeera

30 minutes
  1. 1

    Soak moong dhal for 10 minutes. Meantime take a pan or pressure cooker and add oil to heat. Add jeera then to sprinkle.

    Put the chopped onions and cook well till it's translucent. Then add chopped tomatoes

    Add chilli powder, tumeric powder, salt and mix well. Add the soaked moong dhal to it and cook for 5 min till it boils.

    Then close the pan or pressure cooker and cook for 10 min. (If in pressure cooker leave it for 3 whistles).
