Ingredients

Serves 6 servings
  1. 7 ozmascarpone (200 g)
  2. 7 ozchocolate of your choice (I used caramel chocolate) (200 g)
  3. 1 1/4 cupsheavy cream (300 ml)
  4. 2 tablespoonsgranulated sugar
  5. 1 tablespoonpowdered sugar
  6. Pralines

Steps

  1. 1

    Chill your mixing bowl and beaters in the refrigerator along with the cream.

  2. 2

    Break the chocolate bar into small pieces. Melt it using a double boiler.

  3. 3

    Place the mascarpone in a mixing bowl. Mix it with the granulated sugar.

  4. 4

    Once the chocolate is melted, fold it into the mascarpone mixture.

  5. 5

    Pour the cream into the chilled bowl. Add the powdered sugar and beat with an electric mixer until stiff peaks form.

  6. 6

    Fold half of the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture. Mix and refrigerate.

  7. 7

    Before serving, top the mousse with the remaining whipped cream and pralines.
