Steps

Combine Suji, 1/2 cup sugar and Baking powder in a bowl.

Add eggs and oil. beat for 1 minute, add cream and again beat until smooth

Apply ghee or oil in a baking pan and pour half cake batter in it. bake it for 15 minutes on 180C

For cream filling, take 2 cup milk in pan, add sugar And cornflour, cook for 5-10 minutes until creamy and thick

Remove the cake from oven after 15 minutes and pour this cream mixture on top of it, let it set for 2 minutes

Add remaining half uncooked cake batter on top and again bake for 30 min at 180 C

Make Sugar syrup by adding Sugar 1 cup and water 1 cup in a pan, bring to boil for 2 minutes and remove from heat

Pour the Sugar syrup on top of cake and let it absorb for 30 minutes, Garnish with cardamom and coconut,

Moist Juicy and healthy Basbousa cake is Ready to eat
