Pan-fried Cheese & Potato

When I was a financially challenged Uni student, I often cooked this cheese & potato snack using a mini toaster oven. However, a non-stick frying pan works better. If you don’t have a non-stick frying pan, you can place a sheet of baking paper in a frying pan, so that the melted cheese won’t stick to the pan. It’s a cheep but yummy snack, that brings back a memory of my Uni days.

Panfried Chicken with Cheese and Potatoes Panfried Chicken with Cheese and Potatoes
This recipes brings together some of my favorite ingredients. Usually I keep things like vitamins and fiber in mind when cooking, but on weekends I just want to open a beer and eat my favorite dishes. The little bit of soy sauce mixed in the potato stuffing and the soy sauce brushed on the chicken add flavor and umami. If you use an easy melting cheese it will run all over, so use a type that doesn't melt so fast. You don't have to wrap the chicken totally around the potato stuffing; if the mixture is sandwiched inside or the chicken is kind of wrapped rolled around it it's fine. Pan-Fried Cheesy Chicken & Tomato Pan-Fried Cheesy Chicken & Tomato
My kids (and husband) love my oven-baked chicken, but I usually make easy dishes in the frying pan, so I made this. You can also add green peppers or eggplant instead of tomatoes. In order to save time I cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces this time, but it would probably also taste delicious if left whole. Recipe by Kyarameri-na cookpad.japan -

Farmhouse Recipe: Crispy Potatoes and Cheese Pancake Farmhouse Recipe: Crispy Potatoes and Cheese Pancake
I pan fry cheese until it's crispy in a frying pan and top it with various things to serve as a drinking appetizer. When I tried topping it with new potato slices, it was chewy and delicious. I make this quite often.Slice the potato very thinly using a slicer or mandoline. At step 4, if you don't cool the bottom of the frying pan the pancake won't flip over since the cheese is very soft. So cool the pan a bit before flipping.Cook this over low heat to prevent the cheese from burning. Recipe by FarmersK cookpad.japan -
