Zucchini tastes great when you pan-fry it in plenty of olive oil.
I created this recipe because I thought coating the zucchini with cheese and panko would be delicious.

Step 2 : If it's hard to coat the zucchini slices, spray them with water, then coat them again.

Ingredients

4 servings
  • 1Zucchini
  • 200 ml● Panko
  • 4 tbsp●Parmesan cheese
  • 1 dashSalt
  • 3 tbspOlive oil
  • 1Coarsely ground black pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Cut the zucchini into 7-8 mm slices, and sprinkle both sides with a small amount of salt. Let it sit for 4-5 minutes. Put the ● ingredients into a bag, and shake to mix.

    Put the zucchini into the bag from Step 1. Coat both sides of each slice with the mixture. *Refer to Helpful Hints.

  3. 3

    Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat, and pan-fry both sides of the zucchini until golden brown. (When you flip them, if you need more oil, add 1 tablespoon.)

  4. 4

    Transfer to a serving plate, sprinkle with black pepper if you like, and serve.
