Ingredients

6 persons
  1. 600 gMinced Beef
  2. 1/4 cupWorcestershire sauce (Lea & Perrins)
  3. 1/4 cupSoy Sauce Kikkoman (salty)
  4. 1/4 cupTomato Sauce
  5. 1Medium size Onion,chopped finely, stir-fry half cooked only
  6. Fresh Parsley 4 tbs, chopped very finely
  7. 1beaten Egg
  8. as neededSalt
  9. 1 tbsBlack pepper grinded
  10. Bread crumbs a few handfuls
  11. Rice Bran Oil 2 tbs to pre-fry the onions
  12. 1Baking rectangular tray, grease with 1 tbs oil
  13. To serve:
  14. Bread Rolls Scottish (has a soft texture so easy to chew) or
  15. Bread rolls Ciabatta (or Baguette bread in rectangular size)
  16. Butter softened: spread butter on the half cut of bread roll
  17. Tasty Mature cheese or Colby cheese, already sliced
  18. Dijonnaise Mustard or
  19. Burger Sauce (Ingredients are copycat of Takeaway's Hamburger)
  20. Lettuce cut into large portion that fit the bread roll's
  21. leavesArugula
  22. 2Tomatoes thinly sliced
  23. 1/2Cucumber sliced
  24. 1Green Capsicum, sliced
  25. 1big Spanish Red Onions: ring sliced
  26. Jalapeno, deseeded, sliced
  27. Tomato Sauce
  28. 1small pot Babaganoush Hummus (optional, from the Supermarket)
  29. Gherkins: Sour Sweet pickled Gherkins, sliced thinly
  30. 1platter garnish with Lettuce, Arugula, sliced tomato&cucumber
  31. 1 stalkfresh herb Rosemary as garnish
  32. Frozen savoury Potato Chips (image)(not much left in my freezer)
  33. 3 tbsGrated Parmensan cheese
  34. 1large Baking tray, grease with 1 tbs vege oil

Steps

    In a large bowl put the Minced Beef, salt, black pepper, Soy Sauce Kikkoman, Worcestershire Sauce,Tomato Sauce, pre-fried Onions, Parsley: mix with a big spoon then continue to mix by 2 big spoons or by hands as it's easier to mix.Then add the beaten egg mixture (beat egg with a fork,add salt,black pepper on the egg, lastly beat with 2 Tbs of milk)& mix all together.Then add a few handful of Breadcrumbs or more breadcrumb, mix all by hand until well combined & easier to shape (not too compact).

    Divide in 6 big portion and shape into a rounded ball's shape. Set aside.

    In a baking tray, grease with 1 tbs Vege oil. Flatten the meat ball with both palms of the hands, then put the meat onto the tray. Repeat doing to all the meat balls.

    Preheat oven to 220 degrees Celcius.Put the tray in the oven&at the same time turn down the temp into 200 degrees Celcius.Bake 13' keep watching then turn over the Burger to other side; if the temp is too hot then turn down again the temp to 180 degrees Celcius and continue to bake for 2' (don't let the Burger be burnt,so keep on checking).When the Burger is cook then turn off the oven, remove the tray; lift out the Burgers&place them onto a flat plate,garnish with Lettuce,Arugula,Tomato slices.

    To serve: cut the Bread rolls in half, spread the base bread with Butter,on top put Lettuce/Arugula spread Dijonnaise Mustard or Burger Sauce, then on top put Red Onions ring slices,Tomato,Gherkins pieces, Green Capsicum,Jalapeno, a slice of Cheese, then topped with the baked Burger and lastly top with other half of the Bread roll.😙

    In the mean time preheat oven to 220 degrees Celcius.Splash 1 tbs oil on a small Baking tray, put the frozen Potato Chips.Put the tray in the oven, reduce temp to 200degrees Celcius and bake for 15'.When the Potato Chips are cooked, remove tray from the oven, sprinkle with Parmensan Cheese. Serve the Burger with bread, side dish with baked savoury Potato Chips. On side corner of the serving plate put 1 tbs of Tomato Sauce and 1 Tbs of Babaganoush Hummus.😍

As an ordinary housewife, I love doing home cooking & baking, or sperimenting world culinary but I'm a learner in the kitchen, so bear patience with me of my mistakes as all depend on time, availability, strength of health,moods & budget. I have to do the recipes that suites to me, to my husband, kid to my own family's preferences, so my cooking is just simple and not a restaurant style.🇮🇩 😚 I spent my childhood till teen age in Indonesia, a country that loves rice, spicy casserole with gravy, light soup bowls with sambals hot chili sauce on top. My mum cook almost daily 🐟🐋🐬fresh fish dishes, a menu that has plenty of vegetables on the table, we oftenly have snack many times a day. Delightful for us as kids to have🍍🍋🌽plenty of tropical fruits at home. In my birth city the sun shine 10 months yearly, the heavy raining season is 2-3 months approximately it depends in what zone location you are.😍My mom is passionately into cooking and I growing up got inspired and learnt from her cooking recipes, but I didnt learn much because I spent most of the time with the school programs.😍🌶Now I live with my husband in New Zealand. I couldn't find many of the ingredients from the Asian stores for my cooking, so I've tried to substitute the ingredients. The results are that the taste of my cooked dishes are not perfect to the original recipes. I've to reduce the quantity of the hot chilies as my husband or invited friends who can't eat hot meal at all but the main thing is that the dishes taste delicious & healthy.My quote: Keep on trying to improve my own cooking.
